Personal | |
I have demonstrated my programming ability in several programming competitions, most notably when in 1995-6 my undergraduate team of two finished first in the Mid-Central contest and competed internationally in the final round of the Microsoft-sponsored ACM programming competition. Am particularly interested in machine learning, and have studied and worked on some projects involving neural networks and evolutionary algorithms. Professionally, I have always worked well in a high-accountability environment, both in technical and academic fields. Am a logical and innovative thinker, capable of finding creative and novel solutions to problems using whatever software tools are available. Have a particularly keen interest in the physical sciences and applied mathematics. |
